"Shed light on the path and the Journey is easy." ...Pennie Douglas
Securing scholarships is a crucial element in college access and success. College costs should never prohibit anyone from access to a college education. Applying for scholarships is the best second job. Whether you are a freshman in high school or a senior in college, you should always be applying for scholarships.
Don't pay anyone or any company for a scholarship. Think about it, if you are looking for money to pay for college, why would you spend money to get money?
Keep in mind, when applying for scholarships never give out credit card information, bank account numbers, social security number or any bank PIN numbers. If someone is asking for that information, you should know why.
In addition to using federal aid to pay for the usual expenses such as housing, transportation, books, tuition, and fees, you can use it to help pay for dependent care, costs related to a disability, the purchase of a personal computer, and more.
