Flagship advocacy program

Cradle to Career

Cradle to Career is the William H. Douglas Foundation's core student advocacy program: private 90-minute sessions, transcript analysis, re-entry guidance, essay and writing critique, college and career mapping, and peer-to-peer mentorship. Every plan is customized to one student. The annual investment is $1,500.

College and career pathways, seen in person

Xploration Tours

Xploration Tours are customized campus visits built with the host institution rather than booked through one. Every tour is centered on career pathways: scholars see how the education and the schools they visit lead to the careers they want. Each tour carries a detailed itinerary, faculty and admissions contact, and time with current students. Local tours are $75 per scholar, with multi-tour pricing down to $300 for four or more.

Study course for scholars

Ancient Studies Project

The Ancient Studies Project is WHD's academic study course: hands-on work, research papers and applied projects exploring the earliest civilizations and the heritage scholars inherit from them. Blocks run from four sessions to a 30-session academic year, priced $300 to $3,000.

Cohort programs

Workshops

WHD workshops are fun, informative and innovative cohort programs covering the practical ground students are expected to know and are rarely taught: how college actually works, how personal finance actually works, and how to recognize, market and invest in your own talent. Investment is determined by cohort size.
